If your son or daughter is interested in synchro but not sure about which class to register for or are just interesting in trying something new come out to our try synchro session! The session is absolutely free with national and provincial level coaches, it is running Wednesday September 5th at 5pm at the University of Guelph Red Pool. Related Images:

Synchro Ninjas! Program just for boys!
This NEW program is specifically designed for boys. This program will develop water ninja skills like deep water swimming, diving and water somersaulting. This is great for boys that love swimming, strength training and endurance activities. Swimmers will begin to learn basic skills (sculling, diving and swim strokes) that are the fundamentals of synchronized swimming in a fun-filled environment. These skills will be showcased at the water shows! Saturdays: 1.5 hours per week (12:30-1:00 dry land strength training; 1:00-2:00 pool) University of Guelph Red Pool Cost: $720.00 for season ($80.00 per month) Related Images:

Lauren Irvine moves onto Phase 3 of Provincial Team Trials
Congratulations to Lauren Irvine who placed in the top 16 of the 11-12 Figure event at the Hilton Invitational on Thursday, April 14th! Lauren has earned the opportunity to move onto Phase 3 – the final phase of the Provincial Team Trials. The top 16 athletes will participate in a 3-day training camps in Toronto (June 17-19, 2016). At this camp swimmers will learn a routine. Lauren will vie for one of 10 positions based on routine assessment combined with figure results. Other factors in ‘team’ selection will include physical, mental and technical aspects of the sport, as well as team dynamics. The chosen athletes will compete as Ontario’s 11-12…

Guelph Synchro Competes at Leslie Taylor Provincial Championships
Congratulations to Hannah Wiley and Lauren Irvine who competed in Phase 1 of National Team Trials. Hannah competed in 13-15 figures and finished 60th. Lauren competed in 11-12 figures and placed 17th. Lauren advances to Phase 2, which will take place in April. Related Images:

Lauren Irvine had a fabulous day competing in the 11-12 provincial figures age group, at the Lisa Alexander Figures meet on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Olympium Pool, in Etobicoke. Lauren gave it her all and placed 5th among 117 swimmers from across Ontario’s Central/North/West regions. She has embraced the Club’s motto in her personal goals ……”Top 6 . .
