About us

Our History

The Guelph Parks and Recreation Department originally offered a recreational synchronized swimming program for many years through Victor Davis Pool. This allowed many Guelph children to be exposed to the sport. The program was one hour per week and offered progression through the Trillium Levels and a year-end show. In January of 1995, Parks and Recreation turned the program over to a group of parents who wished to see the swimmers have the opportunity to be involved in the sport on a competitive level. Hence the Guelph Synchronized Swim Club was born.

Our Mission

RCASC’s mission is to design and deliver a variety of programs to keep our athletes involved in a healthy, active lifestyle by participating in recreational, novice and provincial programs, and to help in the enhancement of their physical, social, and emotional development, which they will be able to utilize to achieve life-long goals.
